Brain Stuck is a productivity and support app designed to help users break stuck moments into smaller steps, organize thoughts, save reminders, and make overwhelming days feel more manageable.

Brain Stuck is not a medical, mental health, diagnostic, or emergency service. It is intended as a self-support and productivity tool.

Information We Collect

Brain Stuck may collect or store information that you choose to enter into the app, including usernames, brain dump text, reminders, saved notes, checklist progress, and tiny-win scores.

Much of this information is stored locally on your device using browser or app storage. This means it may stay on your device unless a feature specifically sends it to a third-party service or server.

Local Device Storage

Brain Stuck stores many features locally on your device, including your username, saved brain dumps, reminders, checklist progress, and app state.

If you delete the app, clear your browser storage, or use a different device, locally stored information may not transfer and may be lost.

Optional AI Features

Brain Stuck may include optional AI-assisted features, such as brain dump sorting. When those features are available and used, the text you submit may be sent to an AI service provider for processing.

You should avoid entering sensitive personal, financial, legal, medical, or emergency information into AI-assisted features.

Leaderboard and Shared Features

If shared leaderboard features are enabled, your chosen username and score information may be sent to a database so the leaderboard can work across devices.

Please do not use a username that contains sensitive personal information.

Payments and Donations

Brain Stuck may include a support or donation link. Payments are handled through Stripe-hosted pages. Brain Stuck does not store your full credit card number inside the app.

Calendar and Reminder Features

Brain Stuck may allow you to create reminders or add items to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or other calendar tools. If you choose to use those features, information may be shared with the calendar service you select.

Third-Party Services

Brain Stuck may use third-party services for hosting, database storage, payment processing, calendar links, analytics, or optional AI processing. These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies.

Children’s Privacy

Brain Stuck is not intended for children under 13 without parental involvement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 as a standalone consumer app.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information used by Brain Stuck. However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can choose not to enter sensitive information into Brain Stuck. You can also delete locally stored data by clearing your browser or app storage. If you do not want information shared with optional third-party features, you can avoid using those features.
